HISTORY The North Florida Corvette Association, Inc. (NFCA) of Jacksonville,
FL was established in the summer of 1964. NFCA was the first Florida Corvette club to seek affiliation with the National Council of Corvette
Clubs (NCCC ). NFCA became a member of NCCC in 1966. PURPOSE To bring together persons interested in
Corvettes, to provide fellowship among Corvette owners, to promote civic and charitable activities, and to sponsor events among
owners of Corvettes. ACTIVITIES The club's activities include: Autocrossing, Parades,
Concourses, Rallies, Drags, Caravans, Community involvement and fund raising, such as our efforts for National Kidney Foundation,
the Jacksonville Zoo, The American Cancer Society, and Adopt-a-Highway
. MEETINGS
There are two scheduled
meetings held each month. On the 1st Wednesday, we hold our monthly business meeting at "Chevy at the Avenues". The meeting is
held in the training room and starts at 7:00 p.m. On the 3rd Wednesday, we have a dinner social at a local restaurant. A social
flyer is mailed to all members apprising them of the location and time. Location also listed on the Up Coming Event page. EVENTS Each Year NFCA hosts two major autocross events. The spring and fall Autocross events will draw
competitors from across the southeastern United States. NFCA has a reputation for putting on first class autocross events. In addition
to our famous autocross, NFCA also hosts the annual
"Vettes at the Village" at
the World Golf Village each year in June. NFCA also hosts road rallies and car shows throughout the year.
